IMSG (International Mothers Support Group): Meetings in both Puxi in Pudong at several locations, different days/times of the month. Check out their website to find out where their next meeting is and what types of activities, classes they offer. Yearly membership is RMB150 per Mum. Membership allows you to attend Bumps, Mums and Babes and / or Toddlers. We ask for a contribution of RMB 30 for each meeting that you attend - this covers the room hire charge and refreshments. Membership money is used to keep our library up to date, purchase resources for the toddler group and to cover all other running costs.

Moms In Pudong: We have set up this website with the aim of providing a platform of contact between expatriate wives/ mothers. Food Allergies Group Shanghai Food Allergy Group (SFASG) is headed by Susan Vincent and Junko Sueyoshi. All of our team members contribute time and resources into making this group beneficial to all. We are NOT trained professional but all of us have personal experiences in dealing/living with food allergies. We are committed in increasing the quality of life for family members with food allergies living in Shanghai. SFASG meets on the last Thursday of every other month (Sept.,Nov., Jan., March and May) at Shanghai United Family Hospital from 10 am-12 noon except during the summer holiday from June-August.

LifeLine Shanghai is the first confidential helpline support service for foreigners in Shanghai. It is free, confidential and anonymous. Launched in March 2004, our telephone helpline provides Shanghai's international community with easy access to effective, confidential counseling, crisis intervention, and information. The hotline is staffed by telephone volunteers who have been trained to listen and provide free, non-judgmental support 365 days per year.Whether a caller is facing illness, the birth of a child, parenting issues, domestic violence or other relationship problems, needs information, or is simply having a bad day and wants to "vent," the hotline staff is there to listen in strictest confidence. If needed, referrals for professional counseling and psychological assessment are made to qualified, licensed therapists on a fee-for-service basis.
